Step by Step Animals with 3D Wings

In this step-by-step tutorial, you will learn in a very practical way how to embroider a teddy bear pattern with wings using the 3D embroidery technique.

NECESSARY MATERIALS

1 - 2 velboa fabric pieces for the wing.

2 - Colored Bobbin Threads.

3 - Acrylic Blanket.

4 - melton/unifloc fabric.

5 - 1 velboa fabric piece for the applique.

6 - Cutting Scissors.

7 - E-ZEE Confort wear or similar material.

8 - Colored threads.

9 - 3 pieces of easy tear stabilizer.

10 - Tape.

STEP BY STEP - PART 01

STEP 01

hoop two pieces of easy tear stabilizer.

STEP 02

Embroider the first color of the embroidery to make an applique marking.

STEP 03

Place a piece of velboa fabric of your choice on top of the marking.

Secure it with tape.

STEP 04

Turn the frame over and do the same, place velboa fabric on top of the marking made.

Secure it with tape.

STEP 05

Embroider the next color that will make a seam that will hold the two embroideries.

STEP 06

remove the excess material.

STEP 07

Change the bobbin thread color to the desired color that will be used for the inner details of the wing.

When embroidering the next color, this will be the expected result.

Change the bobbin thread color to the desired color that will be used for the outline.

Embroider the next color to finish the wing.

Remove the embroidery from the hoop

remove the excess stabilizer from the middle of the embroidery.
