STEP - 03

Place the 4.72 in satin ribbon folded (overlapping both ends) over the top marking

Passo - 04

Mark the ends of each of the other 4 satin ribbons at 0.39 in, as shown in the photo below

STEP - 05

Position the markings of each ribbon over the markings of the design in the hoop, as shown in the image below, and secure them with small pieces of masking tape (these tapes will not be removed)

STEP - 06

Place the 5.51x5.90 in R1 batting and the 5.51x5.90 in tricoline fabric (first appliqué) over the marking and secure with masking tape

STEP - 07

Take it to the machine and run the tack-down stitch

STEP - 8

Remove from the machine and place the next 5.51x5.90 in R1 batting and the 5.51x5.90 in tricoline fabric (second appliqué) over the first appliqué and secure with masking tape

STEP - 9

Take it to the machine and run the second tack-down stitch

STEP - 10

Remove from the machine and place the next 5.51x5.90 in R1 batting and the 5.51x5.90 in tricoline fabric (third appliqué) over the second appliqué and secure with masking tape

STEP - 11

Take it to the machine and run the third tack-down stitch

STEP - 12

Remove from the machine and trim the excess fabric from all appliqués, one by one. Be careful not to cut the satin ribbons when trimming the last appliqué. Do not remove the masking tapes that are holding the satin ribbons in place.
