Load the Puppy Cutwork Hem design into the embroidery machine.
Hoop the tear-away stabilizer.
STEP 02
Return the hoop to the embroidery machine and stitch the first placement line.
STEP 03
Position the bottom hem of the T-shirt along the horizontal placement line, aligning the side seam with the center placement line of the embroidery hoop.
STEP 04
Secure both sides with masking tape near the embroidery hoop frame.
Make sure the T-shirt is properly aligned with the horizontal placement line.
STEP 05
Place a piece of masking tape across the center.
Secure the T-shirt with fine straight pins all around the hoop, positioning them as close as possible to the hoop frame.
Do not place pins where the masking tape is applied.
STEP 06
Return the hoop to the embroidery machine and stitch the tack-down stitch to secure the T-shirt.
STEP 07
Place the 13 × 17 cm (5.12 × 6.69 in) Puppy appliqué fabric over the placement line and secure it with masking tape.
STEP 08
Return the hoop to the embroidery machine.
Stitch the tack-down stitch and the placement lines for the remaining appliqués.
Do not trim the excess fabric yet.
STEP 09
Continue stitching the remaining seven appliqués following the sequence listed at the beginning of this guide.
Trim the excess fabric after completing each appliqué.
All appliqués completed
STEP 10
After all appliqués have been stitched, trim away the excess fabric from the first appliqué (Entire Puppy).
STEP 11
Carefully trim the T-shirt fabric as shown in the reference photo, cutting only the area between the puppy's legs.
Be careful not to cut the stabilizer.
STEP 12
Embroider the muzzle and the eyes.
STEP 13 – OPTIONAL
Replace the bobbin with one wound with the finishing thread color (optional).
Or continue using the white bobbin thread.
STEP 14
Stitch the finishing details using the following sequence and thread colors:
PUPPY
Legs and arms finishing — Beige
Bandana, bow and stars finishing — Red
Muzzle and face finishing — Beige
Ears finishing — Brown
Right bow details and stars — White
Left bow finishing and stars — Blue
Right bow finishing and bow center — Red
KITTEN
Inner ears finishing — Pink
Eyes and mouth details — Black
Eye highlights and stars — White
Nose — Pink
Skirt and right bow details — Red
Skirt, shirt and eye details — Blue
Legs and arms finishing — Beige
Shirt and star finishing — Blue
Face, ears and facial details finishing — Beige
Left bow finishing — Blue
Right bow, bow center and star finishing — Red
Eye highlights — White
Whiskers — Beige
TEDDY BEAR
Skirt, heart and right bow details — Red
Eyes and muzzle details — Black

STEP 15
Carefully cut the stitching line created during the first placement on the stabilizer, as shown in the reference photos.
Be careful not to cut the satin stitch finishing.
Remove the hoop from the embroidery machine.
Tear away the stabilizer and clean the embroidery.
