      Card Holder Wallet - Step by Step

      ITH Card Holder Wallet – Project with Three Charming and Delicate Designs

      Materials Used

      1 - 13x18 Hoop
      2 - Stabilizer
      3 - Main Fabric (Printed Cotton – your choice) 15x18 (1x)
      4 - Lining Fabric (Printed Cotton – your choice) 15x18 (1x)
      5 - Small Pocket Fabric (Solid Cotton – your choice) 16x15 (1x)
      6 - Large Pocket Fabric (Solid Cotton – your choice) 18x15 (1x)
      7 - Felt 15x18 (1x)
      8 - Embroidery Thread
      9 - Bobbin
      10 - Masking Tape
      11 - Scissors
      12 - Magnetic Snap Button (sew-on) 14mm (1 pair)

      ⚠️ Note: Do not use snap (tic-tac) buttons for this project.

      STEP-BY-STEP - STAGE 01 (Pockets)

      Step 01

      Load the pocket design file into the machine.

      Step 02

      Prepare the hoop with stabilizer and use a bobbin thread in the same or similar color as the fabric.

      Step 03

      Place the hoop in the machine and run the placement stitch.

      Step 04

      Place the small pocket (16x15) folded in half and pressed with an iron along the bottom guideline (as shown in photo 1) and secure it with masking tape.

      At the top guideline, place the large pocket (18x15) folded in half along the top marking (as shown in photo 2) and secure it with masking tape as well.

      Step 05

      Step 06

      Return the hoop to the machine and stitch to secure the pockets.

      Step 07

      Remove the hoop from the machine, take off the masking tape and stabilizer.

      Set the pocket piece aside for use in Stage 02.

      STEP-BY-STEP - STAGE 02 (Card Holder)

      Step 01

      Load the card holder design file into the machine.

      Step 02

      Prepare the hoop with stabilizer and use the same bobbin color

      Step 03

      Take the hoop to the machine and run the marking step,
      continuing with the same bobbin color chosen in STEP 1 / Step 2.

      Step 04

      Remove the hoop from the machine and place the felt and main fabric (15x18) over the placement lines. Secure both with masking tape.

      Step 05

      Step 06

      Return the hoop to the machine to stitch the fabric fixation and pocket placement markings (indicated by arrows on the sides).

      Step 07

      Continue stitching the flap design using the thread color of your choice.

      Step 08

      Remove the hoop from the machine, take off the tape and trim the excess fabric.

      Step 09

      On the back side of the hoop, secure the lining fabric (15x18) with masking tape.
      On the front side, place the pocket piece from Stage 01, with the smaller pocket facing the main fabric, aligned with the marking indicated earlier.
      Return to the machine and stitch to secure the pocket.

      Step 10

      Step 11

      Remove the hoop, take off the tape, and trim excess fabric from both the back and the pocket.

      Step 12

      Change the bobbin thread to the final finishing color.

      Step 14

      Return to the machine and stitch the final steps:
      - Channel stitching
      - Flap outline
      - Magnetic snap placement marking (14mm)

      Step 15

      Remove the card holder from the hoop, tear away all stabilizer, and turn the pockets right side out.

      Step 16

      With the pockets turned right side out, sew the 14mm magnetic snap button onto the card holder wallet.

      AND DONE!
