Materials Used in This Project
1 - Stabilizer
2 - Hoop
3 - Masking tape
4 - Fabric
5 - Embroidery thread
6 - Felt for structure
7 - Bobbin in the same color as the thread for the finishing stitch
8 - Scissors
9 - Hair clip
10 - Lighter
11 - Silicone glue or hot glue
12 - Nylon thread to secure the bow
Step 1
Prepare the hoop with the stabilizer
Step 2
Execute the first color which will be the marking of the bow
Step 3
After securing the felt, secure the fabric and attach it to the embroidery hoop.
Step 4
With the fabric secured, place it in the machine to embroider.
Step 5
Sew until you reach the black thread, which indicates that you'll be securing the fabric again.
Step 6
Place a piece of fabric on the back of the embroidery hoop to finish it off and hide the back of the embroidery.
Step 7
After securing the fabric to the back of the embroidery, use scissors to trim the fabric around the marked line.
Step 8
After embroidering the finishing satin stitch, secure the two side ends with hot glue or silicone glue on the back, as shown in the attached photo.
Step 9
Use the elastic band to gather the bow as shown in the image on the right.
Step 10
After gathering the fabric with the elastic, use the narrow strip that was sewn along with the bow to finish off the elastic.
Step 11
The bow is ready.
Final Step
Attach the Hair clip to the back, and it's ready to use.
