Step by Step
STEP 01
- Prepare the hoop with the stabilizer.
STEP 02
- Load the Christmas Ball design into the machine and stitch the first color shown in BLACK, which will serve as the marking.
STEP 03
- Place the 3,14" x 3,14" snow wadding and the 3,14" x 3,14" felt over the marking and secure them at the edges with masking tape.
STEP 04
- Put the hoop back on the machine and stitch the second color shown in RED, which will secure the material.
STEP 05
- Keep the hoop in the machine and stitch the third color of the design shown in WHITE.
STEP 06
- After stitching the third color, remove it from the machine and trim the excess felt and wadding.
STEP 07
- On the back side of the hoop, place the 3,14" x 3,14" felt and secure it with masking tape.
STEP 08
- Return to the machine and stitch the fourth color shown in RED, which will secure the backing.
STEP 09
- Remove from the machine and trim the leftover felt.
STEP 10
- Load the bobbin with the thread that matches the final finish color onto the machine.
STEP 11
- Go back to the machine and stitch the last color of the design — this will be the final finish. Remove from the hoop, remove the stabilizer, and clean up the embroidery.
STEP 12
- Fit the finished piece into the recessed part of the acrylic sphere and close it with the other half.
