STEP-BY-STEP - STAGE 01 (FRONT)
STEP 01
Prepare the hoop with two sheets of tear-away stabilizer.
STEP 02
Load the FRONT embroidery design and run the color shown in PURPLE — this will be the placement/registration stitch.
STEP 03
Place the R1 batting 6,29" × 4,72" over the marking and the beige tricoline 6,29"× 4,72" and secure with masking tape.
STEP 04
Return to the machine and run the color shown in BLACK - this will tack/fix the materials.
STEP 05
Continue stitching the next color, GREEN (wreath).
HOUSE WITH HEART: Stitch beige (border) and green (wreath).
HOUSE WITH STAR: Stitch beige (border), green (wreath) and brown (door and window details).
STEP 06
After stitching the wreath, remove the hoop from the machine and place the other piece of beige tricoline 6,29" × 4,72" on the back of the hoop; secure with masking tape.
STEP 07
Return to the machine and run the next color shown in BLACK to fix the back fabric and create further markings.
STEP 08
Remove from the machine. Using fine-point snips, cut the fabric and R1 batting from inside the markings for the windows, door and the center of the wreath on the front, taking care not to cut the stabilizer. On the back, cut only the fabric inside those same markings, also without cutting the stabilizer.
STEP 09
Trim the excess fabric on the front and back as shown in the photos.
STEP 10
Return to the machine and stitch the next colors: green (wreath finish) and brown (finishing around the door and windows).
HOUSE WITH HEART: Stitch wine (heart finish) and brown (door/windows finish).
HOUSE WITH STAR: Stitch wine (star finish) and brown (door/windows finish).
STEP 11
Remove from the machine and change the bobbin to the next color - this will be the side finish thread.
STEP 12
Return to the machine and run the color shown in BEIGE.
STEP 13
Remove from the machine and change the bobbin to the next color — this will be the roof finish thread.
STEP 14
Return to the machine and run the color shown in WHITE to stitch the roof finish.
STEP 15
Remove from the machine, unhoop, remove the stabilizer and clean the embroidery. Set this piece aside for ASSEMBLY in STAGE 4.
STEP-BY-STEP - STAGE 02 (SIDE PANELS)
STEP 01
Prepare the hoop with two sheets of tear-away stabilizer.
STEP 02
Load the SIDE embroidery design and run the color shown in PURPLE - placement/registration stitch.
STEP 03
Place the R1 batting 7,48" × 4,33" over the marking and the beige tricoline 7,48" × 4,33" and secure with masking tape.
STEP 04
Return to the machine and run the color shown in BLACK to tack/fix the materials.
STEP 05
Continue stitching the next color shown in BEIGE (border/detail).
HOUSE WITH HEART: Stitch beige (border/detail).
HOUSE WITH STAR: Stitch beige (border/detail) and brown (window finish).
STEP 06
Remove from the machine and place the other beige tricoline piece 7,48" × 4,33" on the back of the hoop; secure with masking tape.
STEP 07
Return to the machine and run the next color shown in BLACK to fix the back fabric and add further markings.
STEP 08
Remove from the machine. With fine-point snips, cut the fabric and R1 batting inside the markings for windows, door, heart and chimney on the front, taking care not to cut the stabilizer. On the back, cut only the fabric inside the same markings, also without cutting the stabilizer.
STEP 09
Trim excess fabric on the front and back as shown in the photos.
STEP 10
Return to the machine and stitch the next color(s): brown (finish around windows and chimney) and WHITE (finish for the heart).
HOUSE WITH HEART: Stitch brown (windows/chimney finish) and WHITE (heart finish).
HOUSE WITH STAR: Stitch brown (windows/chimney finish) and WINE (star finish).
STEP 11
Remove from the machine and change the bobbin to the next color for the side finish.
STEP 12
Return to the machine and run the BEIGE color to sew the fill/final satin stitch.
STEP 13
Remove from the machine, unhoop, remove stabilizer and clean the embroidery — remove stabilizer from the side flaps as well.
STEP 14
Trim the side batting and threads as shown in the photos.
STEP 15
Repeat this entire stage to make the second side panel. Reserve both side pieces for ASSEMBLY in STAGE 4.
STEP-BY-STEP - STAGE 03 (BACK)
STEP 01
Prepare the hoop with two sheets of tear-away stabilizer.
STEP 02
Load the BACK embroidery design and run the color shown in PURPLE — placement/registration stitch.
STEP 03
Place the R1 batting 5,90" × 3,54" over the marking and the beige tricoline 5,90" × 3,54" and secure with masking tape.
STEP 04
Return to the machine and run the color shown in BLACK to tack/fix materials.
HOUSE WITH HEART: Do the same fixation and stitch the next color in BEIGE (border/detail).
HOUSE WITH STAR: Same fixation and stitch BEIGE (border/detail).
STEP 05
Remove from the machine. Place the other beige tricoline piece 5,90" × 3,54" on the back of the hoop and secure with masking tape. Return to the machine and run the next color shown in PURPLE for the next marking.
STEP 06
Remove from the machine. Using fine-point snips, cut the fabric and batting inside the heart marking on the front of the hoop, taking care not to cut the stabilizer. On the back, cut only the fabric in that same marking, also without cutting the stabilizer. Trim excess fabric around the piece.
STEP 07
Return to the machine and stitch the next color shown in WHITE for the heart finish.
HOUSE WITH HEART: Stitch WHITE (heart finish).
HOUSE WITH STAR: Stitch WINE (star finish).
STEP 08
Remove from the machine and change the bobbin to the next color for the side finishes.
STEP 09
Return to the machine and run the BEIGE color for the final fill/fill stitch.
STEP 10
Remove from the machine, unhoop, remove the stabilizer and clean the piece. Reserve for ASSEMBLY in STAGE 4.
STEP-BY-STEP - STAGE 04 (BASE & ASSEMBLY ON THE HOOP)
STEP 01
- Prepare the hoop with two sheets of tear-away stabilizer.
STEP 02
Load the BASE embroidery design and run the color shown in PURPLE - placement/registration stitch.
STEP 03
Take the FRONT piece from Stage 1 and insert a pin at the meeting point of the two seams on each side and one in the center, as shown in the photo.
STEP 04
Match and insert the pins into the placement marks on the hoop, following the photo.
STEP 05
Repeat the pin placement for both sides and the back. Apply masking tape along the entire length of the pieces, in the corners and on the inside as shown in the photos, then remove the pins.

STEP 06
Return to the machine and run the next color in BLACK - this will tack/fix all the materials. Reduce machine speed a little for this step because there is a lot of material to stitch and you don’t want anything to hit the presser foot or shift.
STEP 07
After tacking, remove only the center masking tape.
STEP 08
Place the R1 batting 3,54" × 3,54" and the fabric 3,54" × 3,54" on the front and the other fabric 3,54" × 3,54" on the back of the hoop and secure with masking tape.
STEP 09
Return to the machine and run the next color shown in PINK to tack the front and back base materials.
STEP 10
After tacking, remove from the machine and trim the excess fabric from front and back. Keep the masking tape in place.
STEP 11
Change the bobbin and top thread to the color for the fill/final stitches.
STEP 12
Return to the machine and stitch the next color shown in BEIGE. When finished, remove from the machine, remove the masking tape and unhoop.
STEP-BY-STEP - STAGE 05 (FINAL ASSEMBLY)
STEP 01
Apply glue to the tab of one side as shown in the first photo, and glue it to one side of the front piece as shown in the second photo. Allow each glued side to dry before gluing the next.
STEP 02
Glue all the sides first so the piece forms a small box.
STEP 03
Apply glue to the roof tab indicated by the arrow in the photo.
STEP 04
Glue the roof tab following the front seam guide shown by the arrow. After it dries, do the same with the other roof tab. Repeat the gluing on the back (roof back).
STEP 05
After gluing, trim the guide thread that remains on the front.
STEP 06
Add a small bow with a pearl to decorate the wreath.
STEP 07
Insert the decorative LED candle through the roof opening and pass the satin ribbon through the chimney.
