Step by Step - Part 01

MATERIALS USED

1 - 5,11" x 7,08" cm Embroidery Hoop

2 - Easy Tear-Away Stabilizer

3 - 2 Pieces of Cotton Fabric 5,11" x 4,33" – Front Side

4 - 2 Pieces of Cotton Fabric 6,69" x 4,72" – Back Side

5 - 1 Piece of R1 Batting 5,11" x 4,33" – Front Side

6 - 2 Pieces of R1 Batting 6,69" x 4,72" – Back Side

7 - Masking Tape

8 - Small Sharp-Pointed Scissors for Cutting

9 - Bobbin Thread in the Color of the Satin Stitch

10 - Embroidery Threads

STEP 01

- Hoop the stabilizer.

STEP 02

- Load the embroidery file for the FRONT PART into the machine and run the placement stitch.

STEP 03

- Place the batting 5,11" x 4,33" first, then the cotton fabric 5,11" x 4,33" on top of the placement line. Secure both with masking tape on the edges.

STEP 04

- Run the tack-down stitch. Remove the masking tape after it's done.

STEP 05

- Change the bobbin to match the color you chose for the quilting stitch. Run the quilting and the next embroidery steps as shown in photos 01 and 02.

STEP 06

- On the back of the hoop, place another piece of cotton fabric 5,11" x 4,33" and secure it with masking tape.

STEP 07

- Run the tack-down stitch.

STEP 08

- Remove the masking tape and trim the excess fabric from the back, and also trim the fabric and batting from the front.


STEP 09

- Place the bobbin thread matching the satin stitch color for the next step.

STEP 10

- Run the satin stitch, which will be applied only to the top part of the piece.

✔️ Done!

- Set this piece aside to use in the next step.

Step by Step - Part 02

STEP 01

- Hoop the stabilizer.

STEP 02

- Load the embroidery file for the BACK PART, run the placement stitch.

STEP 03

- Place the batting 6.69" x 4,72" and the cotton fabric 6.69" x 4,72" on the placement line. Run the tack-down stitch.

STEP 04

- Remove the masking tape and trim the excess fabric and batting.

STEP 05

- Position the FRONT PART (prepared in Part 01) over the current piece in the hoop. Secure it with masking tape.

STEP 06

- Run the tack-down stitch to join both parts together. Remove the masking tape after it's done.

STEP 07

- On the back of the hoop, place the batting 6.69" x 4,72" and the other cotton fabric 6.69" x 4,72". Secure with masking tape. Run the tack-down stitch.

STEP 08

- Remove the masking tape and trim the excess fabric and batting.


STEP 09

- Place the bobbin thread matching the satin stitch color for the next step.

STEP 10

- Run the satin stitch for the final finishing.

STEP 11

- Remove from the hoop, tear away the stabilizer, and clean the embroidery.
